some of the collection is inspired by Persian bottles. The focus is on a primitive feel in perfect balance with the ultra-modern. The world’s most precious woods are the cornerstone of Robert’s signature style. Many of these special woods will appear iridescent while others convey metallic qualities. Accents are incorporated that are playful
and precise. The vessels
are constructed one at a time and turned on an especially large lathe. Although solid wood is used alone, there is a mysterious illusion of inlaid materials or other applied techniques.
Only the original color of the wood is visible. No paints or dyes are ever used. Natural
